People’s moms just die. They get sick, or they get in an accident, and they’re gone. And then you’re left to just continue on living without your mom. What? You’re a teenager in school, and then one day you come home, take off your backpack, and hear the news. Before you know it you’re dressed in black placing flowers on a grave. And then in a few weeks you’re just supposed to pick that backpack up again and go back to school. You’ve got assignments to catch up on, and exams to write. Sure they give you extensions, and “time” to mourn. But what is time? Once the clock strikes a certain hour everything is okay? You don’t have mom anymore. Nothing is okay about that.
